- GrumpyBedlam8 months agoSeasoned Ace@cityoftommorrow Did you put in your real age when you started your city?
I can't remember the specifics but I'm pretty sure there is an age restriction in place these days. I didnt put my age when i downloaded this game.
- GrumpyBedlam7 months agoSeasoned Ace@cityoftommorrow Hmm normally it asks for your date of birth, especially if you have had to delete and reinstall the game.
I know I had to do that the last time the game had a meltdown. I didnt fill in my birth date so what should i do?
- GrumpyBedlam7 months agoSeasoned Ace@cityoftommorrow If I tell you to save your city progress before deleting the game, closing down and restarting your device, checking for system updates, security updates and anything else that needs updating, then and only then after yet another restart, reinstall the game, put in your correct birth date, if you are old enough (Google the ages requirements) do the tutorial, until you see the settings button appear and then recovering your old city.
Do you know and understand what to do?
If yes
Do it
If no
Then you are stuck with it as it is I'm afraid, until you talk to support. I dont know how to save my city progress. When i click the settings button, i cant find the button that says save city progress with facebook or other things. So, how do i save my city progress? I dont want to delete my city the 3rd time.

I'm fumbling around in the dark trying to help you here. - gg8jllasfa707 months agoSeasoned Veteran
If you have entered an age lower than 18 I do not believe you have the ability to connect to an online account to save your progress. Under 18s do not have any access in-game to things like Facebook, or anything where you connect / interact with other players.
Catch 22 - if you want to unlock those options you may have to start over and put in your correct details at the start.
Is there any other solution to this issue? How can I contact the EA team to fix this issue without me needing to restart my city again?

@cityoftommorrowSave your city, log in with Google Play or whatever, or EA (you might need to set up an account first but it will prompt you to do so if you don'thave one already) or Facebook from the settings menu.
Once you have done that, close the game, delete the app and reinstall.
There will be the opportunity at some point to enter your date of birth
If you are below a certain age some parts of the game will not allow you access, which by the looks of things, that is what you are experiencing now with Global Market and Mayor's Island.
You'll have to Google the age requirements for the game.
I've advised you what to do before, seriously it is not rocket science 🤣
However if you are unwilling to help yourself, why should anyone else?
