Currently in a Mayor's contest and stuck on a Vu's repair challenge. I have 15 FIFTEEN Vu's gloves and 1 battery. And of course I can't launch a disaster without batteries. I thought the marketplace was based on what Mayor's put up for sale but every time I need an object, even the most common, like seeds, nails, hammers etc, suddenly stop appearing.
That's bad enough but Vu's objects are all but impossible to get.
Itend to find that that is the case. Whenever you need an item for cargo shipment,upgrade or other things, they tend to be harder to find in the market place. Especially VU items. I suggest trying to farm the marketplace for those items during the time when a contest ends but before the new one begins. Not easy but that when I find most of my VU items.
I think a lot of people find that.
With the trade center it is annoying but i find just visiting peoples shops helps. It really opens up what is available out there for you to buy as i don't think many people put the little things on advertisement as it's not going to bring in the money.
Also when it comes to being lop sided with VU/expansion/storage items, i put a few up for sale and i then find that the other ones start becoming available from popping bubbles.
