Kardashians crashing the game

I have similar problems with crashing, and freezing for several seconds. I reinstalled 3 times, and changed various notifications settings. The worst case of crashing is trying to visit one of my team members. It crashes nearly every time. Restarting the game seems to overcome this temporarily. I have no problems with other games. EA come up with rubbish suggestions to try to fix the problem. I am convinced the adverts contribute to the problem as well. Many do not finish or hang up. 

I've noticed 3 things that consistently cause me to crash.

1) a specific ad

2) trying to visit a city with over 5 mil pop

3) the smallest train station.

There's nothing I can do about the ads or the city sizes. However, removing the small station from my capital city actually cleared up about 80% of my crashing issues. The larger stations don't cause me any problems.
