Mass Transit ideas

Well said! It’s a fantastic idea and very much in keeping with the spirit of the game. The execution has been a disaster.  I like the idea of being able to convert existing roads into road with subways underneath. That would be a lot more in keeping with how cities are actually upgraded.

In a practical sense, there needs to be a way to create the railway items other than the Railway Store. It’s so painfully slow to earn enough railway coins to purchase the items in the store. Not to mention waiting days for them to appear at all. This feature needs a LOT of work. I just wish I hadn’t downloaded the “upgrade” at all. It kind of ruined the game for me.

If I remember correctly, I couldn't continue playing until I downloaded and installed the update. So you don't have to worry about installing the update.

But since there are many railway fans, it would have been better if EA had asked us players beforehand if we wanted to take part in the beta test.

Don't you have to sign up to as a beta tester to begin with?

The game asked me to install the update... otherwise I wouldn't be able to continue playing. After the installation I was only informed that I was taking part in the beta test. I wasn't asked if I wanted that. Since then I've been testing EA's poor railway system.

I have multiple cities, none have been asked to join the betatest, my 2 cities which have been assigned are  lntended level18 cities, fortunately lots of room left for the rails, the upgrade is not too bad if some things change. Jou must add a factory to create the needed items, and only need them for the mass transit. Stupid idea to create (now 10) 5 items each day, if you need (sometimes) over 50 a day! It takes a lot of space you cannot use for buildings to build your railway. Is too simple layout with 2 trains if you buy one, and dont spend real money for a third. Spending money in a beta is stupid.
