In the past few months, my Facebook friends no longer show up on the app.
Only Daniel shows up when I click on the people button.
I have cleared data, and reloaded the game from Facebook, which is what the answer from 2014 says to do, but it did not work.
How do I fix this?
@MSaroff Hello! Setting in facebook can cause the issue, please try these things.
-check the facebook setting. Setting&Privacy > Settings >Apps and Websites >Logged in with facebook
Ensure that the simcity is listed in the "Active" section. If its listed in the "Expired" section, check it and renew the connection.
Make sure that you have the latest version of FB app. Your friends might have to the same to re-connect the app and facebook. Logout/log in, unfriend/re-friend might help too.

Updated Facebook app, (tend to avoid because each new version finds a new way to violate my privacy) cleared data and reloaded, and nada.
@MSaroff Have you already checked the facebook setting? The simcity app has to be listed in the "active" section at "Apps and Wesite" setting. When facebook update the app, it sometimes expires the connection.
After you and your friends clariflied the facebook setting and still doesn't work, you might have to contact to EA's support.
It might be your friends who need to make the change.
they go through the same process with the Facebook settings. But then they also, and you need to check this too, check the pull down menu on the right which brings you to who can see that you have this app and make sure it’s marked friends.
That fixed mine! Hope you haven’t had to wait this long for a fix, but wanted to post just in case. Or if someone else comes along needing help like I did!
I deleted my Facebook that’s attached to SimCity and I can’t get it to link. Same with Apple ID. Any ideas? I’m stumped.
also left my alliance. They were too favor ahead. Looking for a alliance that’s for intermediate. Like starting the journey and gett to the end of some.
