My market items don't get sold
A while ago i sold many items on my market, but now everything i anounce always gets stuck so i can't sell anything anymore.

We can appreciate how frustrating it can be to experience slow sales - especially if you've been selling out fast before.
The Global Market is a real marketplace for you to trade with other players. We'd encourage you to experiment with your pricing strategy and the time of day you post items to get in front of as many Mayors as possible. You can also try staggering your advertisements to ensure your city is regularly appearing in the Global Market, or inviting friends to visit your city. To make sure that you can always find a buyer, Mayor Daniel (a non-player character) will purchase your remaining items in the marketplace if you haven't found a buyer within 48 hours.
We are always looking at ways to improve the Global Market, so thanks for letting us know.
- Many thanks for your response and good to see that ea is looking at these forums. But I am sorry to say that the last bit in your response is not working as intended. I am having items in my market place wel over 48 hours by now and there is no sign of Daniel purchasing them. I am just stuck with a full Market place for about three days now....
- "experiment with your pricing strategy"?! Why does my wife's Vegetables priced and advertised at 5 Simoleons not get sold until Daniel buys it 2 days later? Can you please at least acknowledge that the problem is the system, and not the players?
- I completley agree, the pricing strategy is nonsense.
- I use to sell everything, now I have shovels, nails, boards, bricks advertised and nothing selling.

It seems like the global market only shows the most recently listed items? So after a couple of minutes, you're kind of screwed, unless you list another item and the buyer also wants your previous item. That's how it looks to me, anyway. If that's the case, can't you randomise the order instead? Otherwise, if you've filled up all your slots, there's no way to give it this little "jumpstart", unless you spend your hard-earned SImCash. I realise this is one way of getting some revenue, but it feels like a bug to me... a very frustrating one. Though not as frustrating as going to BUY items, and 9/10 it's no longer there.I disagree. This is not a real marketplace because we can't SEE everything that is for sale but only the most recent postings. if something doesn't sell in the first minute if it's lost forever.
Also we can't see items in friends marketplaces even though their markets are full.
Thecurrent marketplace is a serious detractor from the enjoyment of the game and needs a complete rework. All other aspects of the game including the slow play are fine and add to the strategic play but this market needs work immediately.

- Hey, I see ur point Amelie, but just an ide If u had in mind we live always needed to put items fore sale in the right time. I bought all the slots about first day I started I think. And that can feel like we been kinda buy a non usefull thing. Whats the point of adv. of an item If the marked shows it about 30 sek since 30.000 Ppl do it same time, so marked side so small, it kinda no use of adv. it either. I actually thought by buy all slots, and added adv. to all of my items it be shown now and then. But I also found out that I dont sell any items when i out whole shop full of items 1/2 of pc normal on marked it dont sell either. Then to shorten the marked , and keep more Ppl live, maby refound our money from slots, shorten all shops to Max 3 slots. That whay we have to spend more time on trading..? another Ide. And build out the game in the whay I put out as an Ide'. ;0)
- I've had twelve slots of various for sale items, listed at various prices, in different quantities, and all placed on market at various times during a 72 hour plus period. all advertised and still no Daniel and no buyers. Very frustrating. Capacity is at max and factories full - completely stuck game wise and not playing again until this issue is fixed. May erase the entire game completely and forget about it. Ps tried other tips like rebooting iPad, going offline and then online, buying from both hq and Daniel - nothing worked.
