The icon is still on the left hand side of the screen for cashing in the snowflakes but the assignment snowflake on the city is nowhere to be seen.It just didn't reappear either after I completed an assignment or after I skipped it (can't remember which).This means I have a snowflake balance in the bank but have no way to add more.Please help

Hi everyone, Sorry for the wait and for the confusion - this is not an issue with your game. The winter festivities have come to an end, and Snowflakes can no longer be collected, that's why you were not seeing tasks to collect snowflakes anymore. The Mayor’s Gift Game remained in the game for a few days after so you had the opportunity to use up any Snowflakes left, so you didn't lose them. You can find help from other players here in the forums, and you can share experiences with other Mayors. But I'd also like to clarify that if you are looking for technical support from our team, you should use the in-game help link or go to our EA Help page. However, if you think you have found a bug in the game, forums are a great place to report bugs 🙂 Other players may have a workaround to share with you 😉 Hope you enjoyed the festive season! -Mai

well, I have the same problem and the snowflake is not back yet. Guess this subject was not attractive enough for the ea support so they left the gamers by themselves to find a solution.Is there anybody out there?🙂

The name "SimCity Buildit Support" suggests that this *IS* the tech support mechanism.If not then these EA games are worse than I thought.This time my snowflake has not returned after reinstalling the game.What a farce!

I had same error and reported it. They said willlook into fix. I had same problem where the assignment snowflake never reappeared again. We should be reimbursed somehow for lost points

I also want to add that this third day now and snowflake never reappeared. I restarted game tried to wait a few hours nothing. Also warning if you completed a assignment but do not collect the points do not watch any video ads. After the ad and reward you find the snowflake points disappeared. Lost 150points

A workaround is to clear the app data and re-run the tutorial before connecting back to your city. After a re-boot the snowflake re-appears.
This has consistently happened half a dozen times now.

The forum is administered by an EA Community Manager who I believe looks after multiple forums and really does an excellent job. What I offered was a quicker solution by directly contacting technical support through the in game help section (I doubt technical support has time to monitor the forum). You can elect to explore my suggestion or sit here and complain - doesn’t make any difference to me.

I too lost my snowflake that is generated over a building in my city. Please help Simcity de so because I need 5 more snowflake points
