EA just started a news blog - as of October 6th - that discusses Buildit updates in detail. Nice to see they're providing more feedback. Maybe the new owners of EA are interested in improving the game. Hoping.

I'm trying the game again (not committed to long term playing) randomly of not playing since January. I'm encouraged by the improvements to the services in the game and the new blog that will cover game updates / bug fixes. I'm also encouraged that EA actually seems to want to solicit feedback from players. I think if the blog and the actual willingness to engage players had been the case all along, this would have been a much more peaceful year for everyone.
But I'm not convinced, I was more willing to flush a level 99 city with all five regions and maxed out storage down the toilet than endure the hassle of the services update that was forced on players, and I deleted that city because EA drove me to it. I am still incredibly angry with EA, it ruined my view on the game, and pushed a lot of players away. There is a long road that will have to be traveled before I consider letting go my grudge.
