This is a total scam. Points needed to complete it is 596.6k which is insane number on that time for most players.

It is worthwhile to note that many of the rewards that would’ve come in a gold chest are available during the course of the vu pass “season”. I’ve also received many more war cards, boosters, and other goodies than I ever would. With the old system, I always felt cheated after reaching 110k in A6, because any additional scoring would not be rewarded. Here, in this new war pass, I could conceivably reach 600k in 4 wars. My last war alone I reached over 200k. One other thing that I haven’t seen mentioned here — fighting city monsters are now finally worth it because the points count towards the war pass progression.

ALSO, with the new system you get items right away when reaching each level milestone, but with the old system you don’t get SH!T until after the war — which brings up another sore point of the old system — you can only use the end of war to satisfy ONE war chest CoM task! So aggravating! With the new vu pass you can “wait” to collect chests depending on if/when the appropriate CoM task shows up.As a big CoM player (level 115), this is a hugely positive thing.

I'm in an A5 club scoring about 20-30k per war and not far off vu pass III. We war a lot and have already completed 3 wars so far, it was quick as we won 2 by knockdown.Now the issue being, with 6 days still to run of the 12 day "scam" my 20k will get me very little reward. Maybe 1 bronze chest for my 20k (first 3 rewards of vu pass III). That is no reward at all

@Actionj925 I agree. It was getting to the point where I wasn’t trying to get to 110k because I knew whatever I got in those nine chests would largely be garbage. I have been mostly pleasantly surprised so far with what I’m getting out of the free tiers of VuPass. While I do wish the Level 3 points were lower for those of us who only war once a week, I will be content with the freebies in that level. I do feel the pain of those players who were camping out in A1 for cards or who war 3x a week, because I’m betting once done with the pass before the season ends, they don’t get any reward other than the team chest, and that is very unfortunate.

I'm now done with the pass and even more sad. I got mostly umbrellas and some vamps, not a single jp. Every cash/war cash/keys etc gave me 5-8 keys which I already have thousands.I sure haven't received as many war cards that 596k would have brought. The cards I got, only 5 mags are useful to me but close to nothing.As an open war guy I sure hope more people will now realize open wars benefits.Regarding to com, there seems to be no more chest tasks which benefits many and takes away the benefit that this update otherwise has brought to me.

We have 4 that got to 250k this war. Almost over. We winning. The one we got one booted from other side, they say we cheat getting the city booted. Lol

@Duckups I know legit players who has done it already. My point was that for normal players the wars are ruined. No more chests and absurd points needed for the biggest prizes.

Didn't you say you were at top 20? I'm probably going to do this one but not more. Not worth it but long shot if not paying for and the prices are absurd compared what one gets.

@PenakynaWe stay close to 20. But the only way to compete is waste time getting stuff so they keep moving up.

I actually like it. I mean. It does reset in 12 days right? 4 wars maybe 5 at most?

Get more gold boxes this way than normal war. You get a bonus if you pay.
I cant get to 600k points in 4 or 5 wars. 300 to 400 max. It hurts bigger guys, maybe... but.. our way seems to make it even out

@Duckups I have no idea what you are talking about. 22k points in A1 3 golden chests, 110k in a6.

And now some 500k to get 5 golden chests or 596k to complete it all. What are you getting more? I used to make at least 2 golden chests in a6 and in 5 wars it's 10 golden chests and 15 silver and bronze for 400k points which had much more value then whole this pass even if one paid for it.

I don't understand how anyone doing wars could like this. Is there something I'm missing?

@Penakyna Lower scores, lol. I said for big hitters it sucks. I usually get 3 silver a war. Maybe a gold now and then. Now I'm getting golds.

So yeah. Big hitters wont like this. Me. I'm easy going. But yes, for very dedicated players this isnt good

@Penakyna Rewards are a little less but not much. Chests are not always war cards so the other rewards in the war pass could also be chests. It's just that most rewards are fixed now.
It is more newbie friendly and you can arrange your time flexibly in 12 days.
