Omega Mall Ripoff

I find it unfair that we are not able to sell omega items at our own rates. For example the game offered me 335 neosimoleons to sell 2 pairs of antigravity boots, when I checked the neomall 1 pair of antigravity boots cost 2241 neosimoleons. I had no choice but to sell the boots because I needed the storage. The prices of omega items need to be adjusted because the current rates are a ripoff.

    Welcome to 4 months ago.

Seriously though wait until the Neo Mall prices mysteriously increase for you to 5000 and 6000. And you're still only getting 100 to 200 for the same item. Omega pricing is broke ... but I don't get the sense EA really cares.

I feel there is a correlation with the pricing and the amount you earn.  The more you're earning the more expensive they became because in reality they're not getting more expensive or cheaper.  It's messed up though as daniels city still has relatively cheap items.

I'm earning 4465 neosimoleans per day. And the mall prices items at 5500. So if one day I do manage to get 8000 neosims one day, then would would I have to pay 9k per item? 😮 That would be a tremendous pain in the butt...

    probably hahahha,

but again there isn't really a difference because both have increased at the same pace

Yes but then again, if you're working towards building a city to make more money then you should have more spending power. If you're a CEO does it cost more to buy a hamburger from McDonald's then the guys working the Drive-thru? No it's the same exact price regardless of income. It's this common sense logic that seems to have escaped EA developers.

I just would like to know how do you get more money 4 the store I think it's called the Omega store because they give you so much of the beginning and then when it's gone I'm not sure how to get more

I too have a really tough time managing Omega items blocking my ability to continue collecting them because they can't be sold, other than the Adviser who pops up and says, "Hey! So-and-so city would like to buy 'x' item(s) for ___".

I am beyond tired of having to bulldoze existing Omega buildings just so I can try to cull through my existing stash if items by refreshing over and over until I find some item(s) to use that I'm not trying to apply to something like increasing Item Storage or my NeoSimoleon Bank cap.

I'll voice that the NeoMall is a price rip off too.  I'm not sure as to the logic behind making it so highly expensive.  I'd think that since we have no way of selling Omega Items, so that we may continue to fish for them via the OMEGA Research Center, lower prices on Omega Items in the NeoMall would create a better opportunity for higher usage of items to assist in the city building process, but I guess that the devs would rather we struggle?  Yeah, seems so.

If I understand it correctly You said that you bulldoze your Omega buildings to get new ones that have better building plans? If so you should know that there is an option to get new plans with (at least sometimes...) different materials.

My take on the prices in the Neo mall is that EA only wants us to be able to buy one single item there each day and that is why the prices increases at the same rate as our income. Although it would be nice to buy more I think we just have to accept it.

Yes, I will bulldoze existing buildings because the architectural plans of the "younger" buildings are easier to satisfy than that of the more "mature" buildings.

Sure, you could take a chance on re-rolling the plans of a building that's requiring 6-10+ OMEGA items for days on end, or just bulldoze it and start from scratch on a building that can be developed much faster.  It's a quicker way to free up OMEGA Storage space faster, for me at least.  It's not at all the way I would prefer to handle storage management, but until I can increase my OMEGA Storage (currently at 55), it's the fastest, most controllable method that I can come up with, given the state of game-play.

    😉
