@Wolfphoto You can sell all war items collected (1 item/1 space) to Daniel in 3 days. It will take some time and you want to insure you have enough empty slots in your depot to support your city. Personally, I have no issue with the war items being included in the prizes because you know going in before spending money what’s there. My concern are the war assignments included in CoM as they are overvalued (based on effort) and creates an advantage to the war participants...these are two completely separate contests and should be treated as such.
On a side note, I do have an issue with your comment “Selling war items is prohibited in my team because no one should have any. We don't do war or monster attacks. People that do are kicked off the team.“ - this seems extremely totalitarian in my opinion. Of course each club can decide how they work, but remember each individual has the right to choose where they play and consider yourself fortunate they choose to participate with you, if you decide to kick them out for selling war items or attacking the monster...give them my name and have them send me a private message through the forum and I will help them find a club that will support their efforts. Good luck.
Thanks for the advice but that doesn't help my team out at all. Your method would take way too long and mess up the game play. This change they'vemade has screwed up the gameplay for the whole team. This issue with the war items has only started up in the last few days. It hasn't happened to us before. They're obviously coding in changes and not considering the teams that don't partake in any kind of war.
On your side note, It's not totalitarian - it's our method of playing. That's why teams have descriptions and check boxes for how we play. No one in this team has a war rating higher than one. If you play the war game, anyone in your team is open to attack - even those that don't play the war element. Our way protects all the peaceful players from attack.@Wolfphoto Just a quick bit of insight, no one can play the war game until the club officers Sr. Level and above press the go button. Also, no one can launch an attack against you for attacking the monster and theoretically protecting your coast...it’s silly but it’s a way to get rid of war items and until EA decides it’s in the best interest of the game to make a change, they’re the only 2 methods I’m aware within your club’s rules - whether it helps your team at all or not.
I stick by what I said because it sounds totalitarian...normally seen in some war clubs generically referred to as the “you musts” - you must speak in the chat room daily, you must participate in every war and score X points, you must score X points in CoM, you must let us know when you go to the bathroom...(being a little factious on the the last one) but I’ve never seen it in a non war club. As long as everyone is happy that’s great...but when someone steps outside the guidelines in an effort to deal with the issue of getting rid of war items because it’s compromised their storage and you boot them out - provide them the courtesy of having them contact me...I know several supportive and encouraging clubs that would be glad to have them on board.
As a member of the Wolf Pack, I second this! People in our club have no interest in participating in wars, so it is very unfair that we are still presented with war tasks and war items.
You're boring me with your totalitarian rant now. 🙂
I know about the war issue thanks. Been playing for a few months now. Dont assume newbie on here means newbie to the game. We haven't needed to air a major issue as a team until now. This is the first time our team has had any war items...all thanks to current changes.
We're experimenting with your tip about Daniel now. Thanks for that.
Have a lovely weekend.
@Wolfphoto Glad to hear you’re not a newbie and a seasoned veteran playing for a few months now...I’ve been playing since the start of Buildit and SimCity long before EA considered acquiring - which I guess means I’m not a newbie either. Sorry to hear you’re bored with my “rant - I didn’t realize that I was “expressing anger by shouting and repeating about my frustration again and again and again” - wait, I didn’t. I was not angry or shouting or repeating my frustration...I guess you’re incorrect, no rant here.
Simply put you did not like my observation which is fine...

Hi @Wolfphoto - I can see how this change is conflicting with the goals of your club. It's good feedback for the dev team. In the meantime, I hope that you're able to find a way to work around the issue with Daniel, with the tip that @PinnacleValley shared.
Your club sounds like a great group of like-minded individuals who all appreciate the club rules that are in place. I wish you all great continued success in SimCity BuildIt.
Thank you for your service. Happy Building!
Visit my team we will buy em all
@Duckups Kind offer but it’s outside their rules...one of the two disposal methods I didn’t share out of respect to their guidelines.
- @PinnacleValley They ruin it, we can fix it, lol

We are not a War Club. Before we were getting war chests but they weren't opened automatically - so it wasn't a problem. Even though it was still unfair that we weren't getting non-war prizes.
Now you have started opening war chests for us automatically on the back of other rewards - that is not the sort of rubbish I pay you for a Mayor's Pass for! This creates a major problem for my team - you can only sell war items to team mates - it's how the game is set up. Selling war items is prohibited in my team because no one should have any. We don't do war or monster attacks. People that do are kicked off the team.
You are favouring war over peace. Sim City wasn't a war game but you're choosing to push that war angle.
I'm complaining on behalf of my team 'Wolf Pack'.
Some of us are disabled war veterans that play the game to assist with mental agility - we're not here to play the war element. Our club states no wars or monster attacks in our rules. You need to remove ALL of the war items from Wolf Pack and replace them with peaceful items.
The selling of war items is prohibted in my team. The only way they can clear the war items is by using the green tickets. My team works well together and plays hard. They shouldn't have to use the tickets they have earned to delete war items that you're now littering our storage areas with!
You need to balance the game out. If a team hasn't ticked 'war' as a team activity they should not get any war related tasks in the game either or you are forcing a war agenda and that is both unfair and immoral towards the peaceful players.
I would like you to do the following:
Get a message to the game developers: Stop forcing the war agenda! Some of us play the game peacefully. We want to see no war or monster attacks on our screens if we have unticked the 'War' box in the team description.
We also want you to take out the war items you have automatically opened and littered our storage areas with and replace them with non-war items and tickets.
We want an equal chance at winning the big prizes by having appropriate tasks - eg non war and no monster attacks without wasting task tickets.
All you have to do is code in the team priorities - if a club hasn't ticked 'War' in the club description, they shouldn't get any war or monster attack related tasks in the Mayor's event ... and there should be no adds pushing the war agenda in any form on the team.
Try developing the game more towards ecology issues etc if you're worried about losing players. War isn't the answer for everything.
Some of us pay for the game - you should listen to your paying customers.
