Pumpkin Drive ending in 3 days - collected pumpkins lost?

Question

Hi! I've just realized that Pumpkin Drive event, the one where pumpkins are converted into ghost essence and creep tokens, doesn't last as much as the rest of seasonal currencies shops.

Does that means, maybe, that all pumpkins collected so far will disappear if we don't use them? Won't they remain week after week 'till the end of season?

That's a critical point because if I had realized before maybe I wouldn't have collected the pumpkins given by Mayor Pass Tiers.

Another issue to worry about in this game where insecurity increases day by day. It's impossible to make a planning to calculate how to win the offered buildings if converters will be totally different next week and, maybe, all our pumpkins will be lost.

This game is a nightmare. It has become so absolutely nasty that I don't enjoy anything in it. I just live it as a hard and boring non-paid job, without knowing if such effort will be enough to get the new buildings. 😓

It's the converters that only last a week - so that the Boost that they are offering for real money needs to be purchased again. There will be another one next week, maybe with different ratios and timers just to confuse things further.

The pumpkin collection goes on throughout the season, as indicated by the timer on the Carving Jacks item in the calendar.

If that is the case then that means I won’t get any of the buildings. I got the park but was using the seasonal currency to buy factory speed ups.

Now I expect we will have to buy the buildings with real cash……I will not and who in there right mind would pay 1000 green cash for a Ferris wheel when I got 2 for a few gold keys years ago.

I really feel sorry for all the new players joining and being forced to pay for items which aren’t even necessary.

My response to the seasonal currency madness is to not spend any more real money on this game. I don't care if I earn all the buildings. Maybe, someday, EA will come to its senses. Then I might spend some money again.

Well, I think we'll have the oportunity to get the buildings, because the events to buy them with ghost essence and creep tokens do last the whole season. So those coins won't disappear. What I fear is that Pumpkin drive ends in three days. I suppose they will change it to make players buy another booster, but the thing is I'm not sure the collected pumpkins will remain for next week, as right down in that event is the only place where total number of pumpkins appears. Just in case it happens I will change all pumpkins left for mistery landscape prizes before this event close on wednesday morning. I don't trust EA.

And yes, they will make their best effort to make us pay for anything. It seems developers don't play the game, but I'm sure they play it to calculate the best way to force us to but. That's the aim of the weekly cap limit in Mayor's Pass and many other issues...
