I'd like to know too! I have a friend who does not use Facebook, we both play on Android devices; he can visit my town and buy my stuff, but I can't see him in my friends list. Any ideas?

I used my gmail account (the rest of my life goes through Yahoo) and created a new FB account just for this game. Then I went to the FB page for SC BuildIt and posted a message saying "Add me!". Then I sent Friend Requests to everyone who also posted "Add me!"Once the Friend link is confirmed, you have to reboot the game and the friends should magically appear next to Daniel on the Neighbours bar.
I went to everyone's Trade Centre and found a couple things I was looking for.
I got 3 Sim Cash for my first friend and then I think 10 for 5 friends. I just got 30 Simcash for getting 15 friends! Woo hoo!
LOTS of people are willing to be friends!
What might be useful on the Friends bar, instead of the number in the purple circle, (I have no idea what it means) or the population of the friends' city (I don't care one tiny little bit) would be how many items they have for sale and how many items I have purchased from them in the past.
Also it would be helpful if they were sortable by either/both of those 2 number, rather than by population size as they are now.
Anybody agree?
