This is made worse by the rampant ‘exploiting’ that goes on on CoM, particularly in Megalopolis.
Last week, the winner of my league posted a 227K score which left me gobsmacked. That meant he averaged just a little over 3,000 pts per assignment over the 75 assignments. I don’t see how anyone can be that lucky to get 75 x 3,000 pts tasks, without doing something fishy
The second and third finishers had around 210K and 200K respectively.
Now I’ll only play CoM to get promoted and collect the season buildings, and will not bother once I reach Megalopolis. Cause after spending so much time and effort to complete 75 tasks legitimately, and have absolutely zero chance of winning, it all seems pointless.
Even more so with the regional export tasks now.
So CoM is now blatantly pay to play. EA, you guys need to realize your approach to game design vs payment is in direct opposition to itself. What I mean is hardcore players will pay you to win, but they end up with little else to do since the secondary bottlenecks of other currencies and timers locks the game at a casual pace. Meanwhile, the vast majority of your players who are casual, pay minimally and don’t hack get to face impossibly demanding tasks and can’t win. This design philosophy will end up with everyone unhappy.

the new values are a mess. I made two by using the export areas and invest a lot of goods.
But now my best 3 Com assigments are for my region com. But all export areas are closed and will open when war has ended. Great. I like to tear down these regions. Its a punishment to own addditional regions.
values around 2000 are just stupid! aprox 400 would be fair.
i agree with most of above posters. lol. you guys must be at higher levels than me! i haven't seen those requests for those many points.
i have seen a few people with same usernames at other game websites and who are cheaters too. it's a shame people simply cannot play a game for fun and they insist on paying their way through to be #1 just for a few tokens/keys. smh.
So bad, this task was one of my favorites of COM, I feel disappointed. They made it stupid and really not worth it, since it takes a lot of time and money, as well as items of all kinds. Having to complete war deliveries is enough, but something i can see is that you can change the delivery, but in this case, you can't, so i do not understand the need to make it so complicated, what is wrong with the developers? I mean, if you unlock regions that is good to building your city and have fun, but if you have 4 regions, you receive 4 tasks of this type! i can't make only one task, i can't see myself doing 4, even that, you know that the tasks tend to repeat, so you probably waste a lot of money doing one, and then you receive that again, is just stupid. It is annoying to have to come to the forum to write that certain things are stupid, but if you (EA and devs) avoid making these bad balance errors, we would save all the bad taste of having to leave a negative opinion of the game updates and enjoy the real parts like having a new building to add in our regions. Just think better about the balance of the game and we'll all be happy.
The another thing is the time, you receive the task and the Export is closed and you have to wait a day, the developers have a strange and absurd obsession with the times in this game, someone has to tell they that putting people wait 2 or 3 days for something is just boring.
Agreed, the only way to get into the top 5 these days is to either a: cheat or b: pay lots of real money. I have no interest in either so it's good bye from me EA.
Even paying lots of real money (by purchasing SimCash) isn’t a guarantee of being near the top of the leagues as some can just use whatever exploit to guarantee themselves 3,000 point tasks again and again.
So it’s basically pointless to speed up deliveries, as you’ll sometimes get only 2,400 points for completing it.
The game model is simple - frustrate and bore the player into submission by long waiting times and tedious back-and-forth tasks, so hopefully they spend so money.

COM task to acquire large amounts of regional currency, & I might add Omega neo sims also. How to perform task
quickly so you get on with the next task.

1/ Understand slow acquisition of currency at all times as part of you chores list when you visit your game to escape real life for entertainment. Its like life you grow the bank account then shear it for necessity.
2/ Understand store of value of regional Currency / Omega in structures or products !
3/ Export Head Quarters or Not to ?
4/ Aquisition of regional currency through building tasks, pros and Conversely
What to do ,

Players as you surf global grab as much product as you can, you cannot produce enough product without substantial epic tokens, this is well beyond most players in their 1st and second years of SimCity Buildit. You will need product to make crates for war deliveries , cargo shipments, airport deliveries, building residences, Export HQ ,red hats, green hats, and I have possibly missed a few others. So it should gel with you those hard to sell Crude oil, and Recycled fabric that you make 56 of in 1 hr for COM you could be storing not selling to global but actually converting to regional currency.
Your goal is to then watch for bubble offers. For me its Cactus Canyon and Green Valley. so the bubble offers are those thought style bubbles that read “ for the next meeting the solar panel research association wants to buy .....5 reusable bags for 37 leaf sims.” These are the deal or no deal offers. You are converting product into Leaf sims. Growing the bank balance. All those burger farmers waiting for the best offer should be able to apply that experience now. Simply put , it is make the deals on the fuel, drums and the reusable bags and the raw material that takes 6 minutes. make the deals!

So now you understand switching product to currency , but given its a slow process unless you sell to the asphalt burning club the engines that take literally hours to produce you cant do the COM task. Now thats where I went nuts! I grumbled and mumbled under my breath and farted as I strut my cross eyes down the corridor. Well its nice to know you have read my waffle. Laugh a little & Keep reading . I found another way. I noticed rows of structures in some advanced players regions ( why?)
Its the bull dozer method.
Lets say your leaf sims balance is like err 5480. Go to regional and purchase big food market, for 3200 then bull doze and you make 1200 so now you have 3480 leaf sims . just enough to do same again. so now the dozer has laboured twice .. you made 2400 .. so maybe you picked up a bubble offer for 28 hand bags and you home done and dusted with the COM task. Of course you can do same with a smaller food market.
You are going to need to recover from the low balance you now have. so do more global shopping and convert you normal simoleons to regional product then to regional currency as per 1/
Using this method is quick, All over done in a few minutes if that; especially if you do the infrastructure before you start COM . either a bank balance or a row of structures. Because I am just starting regions ( 8 mths old ) i choose bank balance as then I can do a hot spot upgrade task. the bank balance is a tad more flexible. But , having the infrastructure just sitting waiting for a dozer is comforting.
For Cactus canyon its gas stations. So find the regional tab and have a look. Now the same method of store of Value is really useful for Omega. Go to beach , find the luxury beach house. These are something again I noticed in players cities and the “ why is it so “ simple to overrun the neo Bank buy large amounts to get the more expensive Omega structures & to get large Omega COM tasks done in a hurry. Both over run on omega bank and storage is how to get omega going quicker at the start. To over run omega storage you buy from Neo Mall. then its like burger farming.3/ The Export HQ is a nuisance, its not open for long , and expensive just when you think you no longer want to stock mountain or beach pieces the Export HQ asks for it. Ex HQ is product hungry and if you use it to make currency for COM .. the next task says make 6 export deliveries and the only way to do this is give EA money from real life ... naaah uh no way .... my pension wont cover that ! So Export HQ only gets used for the Export HQ task as I want the product for war deliveries and cargo ships where i get the gold keys and platinum keys reliably. I might do a few Export HQ at will between COM if they are easy to do and to grow my regional balance. I basically stay away fro Ex HQ unless its an actual get 3 or 6 Ex HQ tasks for COM . Its far to important to have my products going to war where the fun is and the club mates are.
That leaves 4 / Building in Regions.
Again viewing other players cities when surfing Global I see built in the regions Omega, and Sky scrapers too , not just regional builds.
Now haven't tried a skyscraper yet but had to try Omega. because when doing an epic build in my main city I could not get bubble offers on my omega to sell omega product. So having regional allowed me a second place to get omega offers.
& each Omega build gives leaf sims.
Now I have not long had my regional places , so I expect they don't go epic they are just like the international London Tokyo and Paris.
Certainly building in regions gives you that regions currency, but the converse side is Overbuilding to level means more product to manage. Adequate City storage is the key component to functionality and enjoyability of SimCity Buildit. overbuilding puts pressure on City Storage . I encourage my clubbers to sit their level for a while and develop the underbelly that produces a functional city.
building for regional currency is not a good idea . Building should be slow and steady.
COM is best played in a functioning club, where the goal is the challenge chests. The players goal should be small prize. if you make it further great. However it will be difficult to do consistently top 6 in COM
Slow and stead rising gold keys, platinium keys and Sim cash and the currencies is the way to do it.
I Encourage players to not just build a city but build a nation of cities in a club, and have the best fun supporting each other as you epic build , war , COM , Trade.
