Twice now in this contest, I have finished an assignment and claimed, only to have it replaced by exactly the same assignment. Just finished producing and collecting 54 animal feed and the new assignment to pop up was the same thing. Earlier today, I produced and collected 58 glass to have the same thing happen then too. it's hard enough using or selling the original 50 items, but to have it pop up straight away??
Anyone else had this happen?
I've also had a number of repetitive assignments, many of which I didn't like and some of which I just wouldn't do. I wouldn't grind out 18 watermelons more than once in a contest. I'm also familiar with the "Make 60 glass, now do it again." Whether or not I did that depended entirely on a) the other tasks I could do; b) my mood.
Others assignments, like Unleash a Disaster or Earn X Gold Keys, repeated sometimes as well. Those I didn't mind so much.
This contest so far, all my repeats have been of the second type. Somehow this contest has seemed more fun so far, with more varied tasks.
Yeah, I guess that because I've never had the same assignment twice in one contest, I thought that although the assignments are random, there must be somethingin place to stop them repeating. Guess I thought wrong lol.
I have noticed that since they "fixed" the contest before last week's contest I have had a lot of repeat assignments in my contest. And so far this week I have had a couple repeat assignments already. I understand that as you move up in leagues and you have more assignments to finish there has to be some repeating but I haven't really had much of a variety of assignments.
I honestly don't see any change in the league since they claimed to have 'fixed' it.
Yes it seems there's a lot of "produce and collect 60 glass" assignments, you just need to look at GTHQ to figure that out. I've stopped producing my own because I can buy so much of it from GTHQ whenever I need it.
I did get that assignment several times, the only reason why I did it once was because 1080 was the highest task at that stage, and sadly I was forced to do 57 Sugar & Spice on my last task (1140 points).

Yup, I received 3 animal feed tasks in a row in the previous contest (City League). And then a 4th one two tasks later. They were make 48, 57, 61, 58.
I also have noticed a lot of produce and collect tasks this past contest. There was no way I was could comete for the bigger prizes ( I did win the small prize in the city league) being behind almost 18000 points when I started and only getting the small 1000-1500 point tasks to pick from, and most of those being the produce and collect kind. A bad week maybe?
