This morning Simcity Buildit prompted me to update, with promise of a reward. After installing I am unable to open the game. Tried clearing cache and restarting, but no luck. Is there a solution that doesn't require losing progress?

Pine tree is a cheap gift considering how much money I've spent on the game.
Really?? I was searching to see what it was. It was tiny and moved quick. There was no way to find what it was.
It was a pine tree, I have two cities, and both cities got the pine tree, and a few of my club members got one too.
Thank you. The game won't load at all, so I'm pretty sure I'll need to uninstall the app. I am connected with google play. Very good to know that I will need to build a house before I can reload a city!
I have the same problem. I did remove application, reinstalled it, started as a new member and built one house.
After that I re-started my tablet and opened SimCity buildit from Google Play games menu. I am still getting the new member city.
Where can I access the menu to open my saved city?
