Have you tried checking your fire coverage? Sometimes houses catch fire when there isn't a fire station nearby. Making sure you've got fire stations placed strategically can really help. Each fire station will provide a company of firefighters if a fire does break out.

It can also be worth keeping an eye on things like abandoned buildings, rubble or sports without water supply. Those tend to be fire hazards and are more likely to burn. Industrial zones too are a bit more flammable than other areas, sp popping extra coveragre there can save you some trouble. 

When you’re placing a fire station (or another service building like a waste management or police station), you’ll see a highlighted area showing exactly what area it will provide coverage for. If your homes are falling outside that zone, don’t worry, it just means you might need to drop another one nearby to optimize coverage and keep everyone safe and happy.
