Simcity freezing on and off when the game starts

iPhone 13, 128Gb memory (not full). iOS 26.5.2. Right when I start the game, it keeps freezing in and off. Freezing occurs for ~5-10 seconds at a time (and repeats at least 20-30 times). During the freeze, I cannot move across my city, enter into any factories or stores, or respond by text. It’s as if the popup ads/notices are trying to repeat multiple times. The freezes get better the longer I play but still occur. This bug makes gameplay extremely challenging. Please fix!
