    Hi @sarena1963,

I'm moving this thread to the general discussion board, as it's more a gameplay question than a technical issue 😉

As @marty21254 already explained (XP for you!), these buildings can't be stored. I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to do, but when I want to reorganize my city, what I usually do is build temporary roads, move my skyscrapers there and then work on the reorganization of my real roads.

If you haven't tried that, it could help 🙂

    Welcome to Answers HQ!

but what if you have no open land?  Are there other buildings that you can store?  And how?

    Hi @swn225,

Specialization buildings can be stored as @f742eb1c59363275 explains here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/SimCity-BuildIt-Support/Storage-of-Specialization-Buildings/m-p/5468089/highlight/true#M7678

If you have any doubts, you can also take a look to this article: https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/simcity/simcity-buildit/specialization-building-storage-in-simcity-buildit/

If you don't have open land, then I would wait until you can expand your land, or hopefully storing your specialization buildings will help you get a bit of free space.

Let us know if you have any questions,

    Mai

The best way to make room for improvements is to store all the buildings that you can (parks, landscape, landmarks, etc.). This will open up a LOT of land. Next, move your buildings out of the way into this new open land. Finally, create the area you want, move the buildings back and then take your parks and things out of storage.

While you've got everything in storage, your population will decrease, but you'll get it back once you bring them out of storage. If you're careful about where you place everything, you might even end up with HIGHER population afterward.
