This has been the most disappointing last few days ever! My assignments at the Megalopolis league level have been so repetitive, the same ones keep coming back...I only have 17 out 100 assignments left and my score is 106 802, listed at 20 on the leaderboard...the top player has over 259 000 points...and the other top 5 are at over 165 000... I've only had 3 assignments over 2000 points...all the others have been at 816, 1224, 1360...I used to get all kinds of varieties before, and it was a lot more challenging. Had I known I would have not bought the mayor pass this time. Not looking forward to the game anymore...

I do like the changes in progression; I think it feels more natural having smaller inclines versus steep inclines. However, I do not understand the rationale behind the other changes. Getting rid of earning mayor's pass points for the bonus tasks has made advancing so much harder, and they diminish the value of the golden tickets. If the separation is to be maintained, then I think the weekly tasks could be made better if when you finish one another one appears. But overall, this change has increased the weekly pressure and has not prioritized making my game time easier.

IFeedback regarding Milestone Tasks & Task Separation

Positive:

• Removing milestone tasks from the CoM leaderboard scoring was a great decision. The competition feels much more balanced and fair now.
• The new tier progression scaling is also fine.

Critical Issues & Needed Changes:

• Pass Progress Dependency: Milestones now represent the primary source ofprogress for the Mayors Pass, making their completion crucial.
• Disadvantage for Solo Players: Solo players (not in a club) cannot complete the 3 War milestones, or at best only reach Tier 1. To cycle them out, players are forced to spend 5 SimCash per task.
• Overscaled Requirements: Milestones for Residential Buildings, Omega Canisters, and Epic Points are scaled unreasonably high, forcing players to dismiss them as well.
• Dismiss Limit Conflict: In a worst-case scenario, players face up to 6 impossible/unreasonable milestones, but the game only allows a maximum of 5 dismissals per week.

Conclusion:

Since milestones are now the foundation for reaching the weekly Pass limit, it should be fully achievable to complete all 10 milestones without unnecessary obstacles or forced SimCash spending—especially for players who purchased the Premium Pass. Please adjust these requirements and offer fair options for non-club/solo players.

Addendum / Additional Note:

As further proof of the current imbalance: The top four players in my CoM leaderboard have now reached between 195,000 and 205,000 points. This translates to an extreme high average of roughly 1,900 to 2,000 points per task across their entire assignment pool. Achieving this consistently is virtually impossible through normal, strategic gameplay. The task distribution algorithm and point scaling urgently need to be reviewed and rebalanced.

Just realised what the update was about. To be honest its not enjoying cutting out ties between COM and season tasks., even if leveling up needs less points earned. I would prefer adding more different  seasonal tasks, its all the same, every time,  or adding a spot when completing one and not cutting one out.I am not sure where the advantages are. Still annoying for me,

With regards to gold tickets….just give us enough tickets to play the game weekly. I’m on 16k now so I don’t need any more. Change the gold tickets to landscape items, lakes,ponds, trees etc.  Give out 500 gold tickets at start of CoM and no more during it.  Thanks

Is there ever going to be a time where the global market isn't flooded with mountain and beach items? Us old timers likely have expanded all our mountain and beach areas. Please stop rewarding them out and maybe only have them available from cargo shipments.

Agreed, I have over 21000 golden tickets and don't think I will ever get close to using them all.

After reading the feedback from the previous Town Forums, no one asked for these changes.  

And EA described these changes as, Play your way, progress faster: the Mayor's Pass is now all about you.  

You can’t just use words to convince me that is true as everyone is saying it is now MORE DIFFICULT to progress. 

They ask us for feedback, ignore it, do the opposite, and then expect us to spend more time and money on the game.  What a joke.

Sorry, but I don't like it at all, way too much work now and I don't have the time for it. There is no real incentive to play the COMs now as the rewards are not worth it, there are far more significant rewards for the Mayor's Pass. I preferred the old way, I could at least complete both and got rewarded for it appropriately.

Who decided that this was a good idea anyway? Certainly not from the players according to all the comments.
