Train tasks are impossible.

Yes I realise what you mean as mine has only 1 car but you can stupidly change it to carry different items and passengers 

I have another impossible task to report. Tried to submit an official bug report but EA makes that impossible. Literally it is not possible to submit bugs reports, only forum posts. 

I am at level train level 6. I got a task that asked for restaurant car deliveries, but that type of train car isn’t unlocked until level 30. Can’t reach level 30 if this type of impossible task keeps reoccurring. 

m652i346ez0m​ - it's not the mixing and matching the cars that is the issue. The Delivery task that the OP has specifically requires that the train be the SC9001 engine, nothing else. That has a cargo / materials capacity of 1 per car, and only 1 car, until you upgrade it a lot further. So the Delivery mission cannot be achieved based on the train constraint that is being presented.

My Flying Sim and Llama Line are both level 10.
It will be tens of years before the SC Line 9001 is upgraded sufficiently

Thanks for starting this thread! I’ve noticed the same issue and wanted to add some context to  what might be triggering this.

I am currently at Mass Train Level 10 and haven't seen a single train-specific task so far. It  seems the issue only starts once the last train type (SC Line) is unlocked. Since we all have to start at Level 1 with this new Pass, the game’s logic fails to account for the fact that the newly unlocked train has no upgrades or extra slots yet. The required quantities are impossible to f' One question for everyone: Does anyone already have one of their older trains at Level 10? I'm about to upgrade one of mine soon and I'm trying to confirm if this is strictly an 'SC Line' unlock bug, or if reaching Level 10 with any train triggers these broken scaling missions."

That’s not true as I’ve put different cars on all of my trains, I mix and match them and if I have multiple deliveries of hammers or planks I take off passenger cars and change them constantly 

Yes, but the problem is that it requires a specific train (The SC Line 9001) which can only carry a single item in it's Construction Car at level 1.
I have several of each type of car, but that doesn't help if the train can only take one car.

You do know you can buy cargo car and 1st class car from the railway shop don’t you. I’ve bought 5 of each and I swap and change these all the time to do the passenger and cargo deliveries
