Unable to Log in to Google Play – Cannot Load Saved City (Android)

Hello,

I am a player of SimCity BuildIt on Android and I am experiencing a serious issue with Google Play login.

Problem Description:

The “Log in to Google Play” option in the game settings is not working, and I cannot load my previously saved city. I had previously linked my city to a Google Play account and now I want to restore that same save.

Troubleshooting steps I have already tried:

Cleared cache and data of the Google Play Games app

Cleared cache of Google Play Services and SimCity BuildIt

Signed out and signed back into the correct Google account in Google Play Games

Restarted my device

Updated the game and Google Play Games

Uninstalled and reinstalled the game, completed the tutorial, and tried logging in again

Tested with both Wi-Fi and mobile data, and disabled VPN

Despite these steps, the login option still does not work and I cannot load my saved city.
