Why doesn't the season pass reward with rail coins / rail cards?

Something that just occurred to me - why doesn't the season pass have rewards relating to the lousy trains in the game? I am really tired of seasonal currencies being shoved down my throat. Even with six trains, it's an uphill climb to actually earn rail coins with the constant appearance of rail store items needed for deliveries or upgrading housing.

Also, just in general - stop tweaking the season pass. It is not worth the money or the effort. The price of the season pass needs to be lowered, it's complete rubbish.

Overall, if generating revenue was a problem, the same question still applies, why didn't the prices just get raised? Instead of keeping a particular price point and continuously degrading rewards, how about making these passes worth the money.
