I want to play Simcity: Complete edition, however, my Mac is running 64 bits now and I cannot launch the game with origin. However there is a version available on the App Store which can run on my Mac, however I need to pay for it. Is there any way to get the game from origin to the App Store, perhaps with the CD code or something?
Hi @stormer1267 - EA sells the Origin version & Aspyr sells the App Store version. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer the license from one company to the other
Q: I already own SimCity on Windows PC/Mac through Origin. Can I get the Mac App Store version for free? Alternatively, can I get the Origin version for free if I purchase the game on the Mac App Store?
A: We are not able to provide copies of SimCity on the Mac App Store to owners of the Origin version.
