Cannot download SimCity. Attempts to download, says "Finalizing" and that's it.

I have reinstalled Orgin, restarted my Mac but cannot get it to download. When I click install it tells me it is finalizing and often asks for the download language and then nothing happens. The install button reappears.

Mac running Catalina 10.15.2
