@tahoesb I am having the exact same problem. I get the same error message saying I need admin rights to load SimCity. I have given my user account admin rights and the game now loads but the message appears each time I try to load the game also it appears I have lost my game data not sure what server my games were stored on.
I don't want to keep the admin rights on for my account or have to assign and take away each time I want to play the game. I have removed admin rights from my account for a reason, the game has loaded fine for the past 10+ years without admin rights. EA need to fix this.
