Money Cheat Codes on a Mac

Hi, i'm desperately looking for the cheat codes for mac... I've been reading here and there, that the codes are the same (alt being option)... Have read that you need to press the keys at the same ti...

I've just loaded up both the Aspyr version of the game from the Mac App Store and the EA one through Origin, loaded my town and successfully added §100,000 to the funds by holding down the Alt/Option key and then pressing W. It took a couple of seconds but I received the notification at the top of the screen that I had additional funds. Could you let me know:

  • Do you have any Mods installed that may be causing the cheats to not work?
  • Which version of macOS are you running?
  • Which language keyboard are you using?
  • Have you, or someone with access to your Mac, remapped your keys so the Alt/Option key has a different function?
  • Do you have any software installed that may have changed the default keyboard mapping?

Hi, and thanks for taking time to reply to me 🙂

- So i have the extended version of simcty (cities of tomorrow?) brought via the origin,

- it's the first time i install a game on my mac (mac pro 2013 with mojave 10.14.5).

- I don't even know what the mods are... ^^' So i'm guessing i haven't installed one. But i have the extended version.

- My key board is a french mac keyboard, it usually doesn't affect the shortcuts.. And none of my softwares should change any key word functions. (i only have adobe sofwares on my computer)

I read somewhere that the server you are on might cause some changes (bugs i guess)... Is that absolut non sense? I must be missing something stupid, but can't figure it out.
