Re: “Caca *** *** Head” is what EA called me.

Oh my gosh! Are you saying that they changed the region name and your city name? They shouldn't be changing the names anyway, regardless, but the names they chose are outright wrong. @EA_Mai - anything to do about this? This seems like something that should be escalated.

I don't blame you for being angry and offended, I would be, too. What kind of connectivity issues were you having with the game? Were you able to get into the city after all this?

    Hi @1__Hav1k__1,

I'm pretty sure the person you spoke to doesn't have the ability to change city names, but I'll try to find out for sure and, if needed, see what action to take from there. Just to make sure as well, is it possible by any chance that someone had access to your computer, and wanted to have some fun?

You probably already know, but you can change the name again from the town hall.

@BlackjackWidow, thanks one more time for the tag!

Not at all, @BlackjackWidow - you know how Answers HQ works, you know it's a place for players to discuss and help each other, you are a great helper and you also know when to tag! 😉

So, as I said - thank you!

The associate, by the name of Chris or Christopher was the person who assisted me. While on the phone, I logged out of Origin like he asked, because he was going to gain access to my account and “troubleshoot”. He then created this test region where he was going to further investigate my issue. I wasn’t aware that he chose to name his “test” region “Caca *** *** Head”. It’s very obvious what he wrote here. It’s unfortunate that when people call concerned with their game purchase, this is how They’re treated. I’ve never had to do this before and i was just going to let it go - but after sleeping on it, i couldn’t help but think that this really happened. I’m sure there’s a way you can confirm validity of what I’m saying, or at least I hope there is!

I was very bothered that I kept getting prompted “Unable to load city at this time, please try again” after dedicating a considerable amount of time to my city. I tried everything on my end before I contacted support; wouldn’t want to waste neither of our times. In the end, I’m still unable to access ANY of my multiplayer cities because of the same error message. He told me that single-player still works... I continued to explain to him that I bought a COMPLETE GAME, not half of it.

Also, Mai, no one has access to my computer. I’m the sole user. I’m an advanced PC user that’s fully aware of who and what is connected to my computer locally and remotely. My arsenal of security applications would discourage anyone attempting to access my PC haha

I see - the dreaded "Unable to load city at this time" error. This particular error popped up again a couple of weeks ago. @EA_Mai combined the threads and asked for some specific information in order to look into the matter. Would you mind posting the requested info for your original region in this thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/SimCity-2013/unable-to-load-the-city-at-this-time-please-try-again-later/td-p/6775752

In the same thread, I posted some things to try to recover your city. This is an unfortunate error that usually is server-side in some way, but there is a small chance that one of the tips may work for you. I am only a player like you, I can't really help beyond the suggestions I made, but I do know that Mai is looking into it on EA's end. Unfortunately, SimCity is an older game and pretty much unsupported at this time. We're hoping that Mai can get some help for users affected.

Sorry for the wait, but thanks for the additional details and confirming no one in your house had access to your computer, @1__Hav1k__1. I have all the information I need to look into this now.

Regarding the issue to load your city, hope the link @BlackjackWidow shared helped (thanks for sharing it, @BlackjackWidow!), but if not, please, feel free to join us in there.

    Thanks again,

    -Mai

Edited: @1__Hav1k__1 editing to let you know I have handed over the details about this to the relevant team.
