If there's an update available, you could try to update your keyboard and trackpad drivers, just in case it helps.

However, as MaxisBazajaytee was explaining in that thread, if it works with your mouse, it could be a keyboard/trackpad buffer issue where too many keys are getting pressed at the same time. Unfortunately, in this case the only thing I can think of is playing with the mouse.
