Re: I lost my registration code for simcity 4

You can find the product code on backside from user manual, @smithcindy.

If you brought the game via Origin, then you don't need to a product code, due the game is linked at your EA / Origin account. You will find SimCity 4 in your game library.
If you brought the game as discs and using Windows 10, then the game will maybe not install or not start. Applications from the SimCity 4 game can crash or give some other problems while playing. This is caused due Windows 10 is blocking and not longer supporting the disc copy protection technology included many game discs.
If you brought the game second / multiple hand, or got as a gift, then the product code is already used. Please return to the store and get your money back.

You need the Origin application, download the newest version from: https://www.origin.com/store/download and then install it.

Try to redeem the product code in Origin, if not already done.

This might not work, due the game is older then Origin. You will see the "invalid code" message.

If a game doesn't appear in your game library, then mostly you're using the wrong EA / Origin account.
Restart the Origin application. Delete any filters in your game library.
Check your internet connection, use a wired internet connection. Restart both your computer and router / modem.
Run the Origin application as Administrator (right click on the shortcut on your Desktop and choose "Run As Administrator" option).
Clear cache from Origin. See this article how to do this: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
Temporary disable the User Access Control (UAC). Change settings to lowest.
Disable or uninstall any security software. Also, close any other applications that are running in background and are unnecessary at the moment. See this list here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/programs-that-may-cause-conflicts-with-origin/
Can you check your "Order History", if the game is listed there? https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/orderhistory/index
If still not there, please contact support: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/

If you have lost your product code or user manual, or it's unreadable, it's recommend to contact a game advisor. Maybe they can "convert" the game to the Origin version. https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/
Otherwise, you must buy a new SimCity 4 game.

Regards.
