Re: Origin login is currently unavailable.

For future reference, I have gathered all the possible solutions for this error. I will mark it as a solution for visibility.

Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
Reset Internet Explorer Settings
Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
Clear Origin Cache Data
Reset the Windows Host File
Reboot your computer. Now right-click Origin and select Run as administrator
If still unresolved, please do a clean boot

Followed all of EA_Tom's suggestions, and his voodoo ritual actually worked. Only problem is I had to re-download a bunch of Mass Effect DLC. Maybe I deleted something I wasn't supposed to...

So I am able to use voodoo! This was never confirmed to me until now - thanks! 🥳

The download you are seeing is most likely the client verifying some files. It can happen that you are seeing a download but no actual data is being transferred.

I get a email or Origin ID / Password prompt, but can access my account. There is an Orange ! "Online login is currently unavailable". Origin client just patched this evening.&nbsp... pleas help me ☹️
