Hi @Unreliable93 - I moved your post to its own thread. SimCity should still open in Single User mode if it thinks you're offline.
Origin was having some connection issues around the time that you posted this message. If you're still experiencing the problem, please reply back with some more information. Are you on a Mac or PC? Do you get any error codes? Have you played SimCity on this computer before, or was it a new installation? Are you trying to play in single player or multiplayer mode?

If you're on a PC, please reply back with a copy of your dxdiag.
To post your DxDiag:
1. Select the 'Choose file' button below the post box
2. Find the DxDiag file and select it - hit Open
3. Add text to your post and hit Submit
