Rotating an object

When placing an object (in my case a ferry terminal)  is there a way to rotate to get it to attach to the road?  I have looked and some have said to use the Home and End keys but that doesn't work. I've tried all kinds of alt-home, ctrl-home and arrow alt ect to no avail there's got to be a way to rotate when your trying to place something.

Windows 10  SimCity Complete addition.

  • The ferry terminal snap points are on the water's edge, not the road. So when you're plopping a ferry, there's not really rotation when placing it. It follows the shoreline. You have to have enough room on the beach to fit the terminal, and the road end will not lie on top of anything else.

I had tons of issues at first with ferries until I realized this. Now, what I do is clear enough of an area to plop the ferry where I want it, and then connect the road ends afterward. You can't plop it on a road, and if the road is anywhere near the building, it will prevent it from being plopped at all. Hope this helps. Happy building!
