@drPatrikKing No, its not normal, and I have the same problem as you, I also recently bought an activation key for this game for my parent as a gift.
There seems to be no way to fix this, only the support service may be able to fix this problem, but they also don’t do anything concrete or don’t want to do anything.
If you bought an activation key for this game from a third-party retailer, like me, then most likely they will not help you, the support team cannot offer anything specific, and it seems that they will not be able to.
I have been communicating with the support service for three days now, and I am very unhappy with the way they are solving my problem.
