SIMCITY 2013 freezing/crashing

I am having the same issue. I have been playing about 46 hours without critical show-stopper bugs but now the game is crashing about 20 seconds after starting the game. I can buy a few minutes of extra time by visiting some other city in the region. This has now ruined the game of every player playing in the region. I can hear the music still playing after freezing. Have to ctrl+alt+del to shut down the game.

Is there a patch or what is the problem? Is it with the servers trying to save my game? I notice that everytime it crashes it goes back to the last saved game, and none of the changes I implemented have taken effect."
Never had this problem since the beginning, but now i have 3 cities that does exactly what youre saying and its always after 3 to 5 min in the city that it freeze can still hear the audio but nothing to do except kill task.
I have the latest nvidia drivers, everything is up to date and this just happens all of the suddent. Another bug to add to my long list of major bugs encountered.

Grrrr..... yesterday I started experiencing the same problem. I can recreate the problem that makes the game freeze and boot me out. It has to do with the great wonder regional news bulletin popping up. If Im in my city and it pops up, I get booted but if Im in "regional view" and the news bulletins pop up regarding the great works, my game doesnt freeze..... *sighs*
