SimCity (2013) 'Incorrect Login Information' Error message..

here is what i got from tech support

May I know if you're getting the error message "Incorrect login information. Please check your credentials and try again"?
Thank you for the confirmation, I would like to inform you that we are getting reports for the same issue from other players and we have reported the issue further to our team to be investigated. This is an emerging issue and I would request you to please wait as our team will be investigating and sharing the update via our Twitter handle. This issue should be fixed as soon as possible.

EA need to fix this issue....Ive paid to play this game whenever I choose and to have it lock up on me like this is a complete upset. I still can not log in...we are going on 8 hours now....fix it or give me my original money back. 

I just installed this game today hoping to get back into it and have the same issue reported in this thread. I opened a case but have not even been contacted yet.

Still the same as of this minute.
Anyone got an update from the Support Team?

Just messaged support, and they said their team is still working on it. 

Got the same answer from support. Started for me more than a day ago.

Having same issue.  Noticed it yesterday when I uninstalled SimCity so that I can reinstall it on a new drive.  Thought something went wrong with the un/install.  And the posts of this thread range between 12 years ago to 1 year ago.  Fortunately I noticed last few posts were from yesterday, so I didn't feel too bad.  But had un/re-installed many times before having noticed that.  Also changed my EA password once, along with many sign in/out of EA app. 🤦‍♂️

The support team is most likely in the dark as well. They are probably an outsourced group.
So, are any of you Game Pass subscribers? Just curious if there is a connection there maybe.
