This issue should be resolved as of ~12pm PDT. Please let me know if you run into any issues.
Unfortunately it's the same for me as well, I downloaded Simcity the launcher tried connecting to servers then I got the authentication failure, it gave me the option to go into single player mode, when I tried to do this the launcher closed and then went through the same process again looping over and over with the same authentication message until I eventually gave up, I gave it one more try this time the launcher managed to connect to the servers by some miracle I was able to play, to my dismay tonight I tried accessing the game I got the same issue this time endless attempts were made, I tried running EA app and the game as admin, no joy, also uninstalling reinstalling the game still no joy oh I also tried fixing the original install and launching the game before uninstalling and reinstalling, EA get this bug fixed asap please!!
