Hi @furujka - yes, definitely! Origin thinking it's offline is a problem. It's unfortunate that the Origin cache clear didn't work ☹️
I know the date/time doesn't seem like it should matter, but it does. There are several reports of changing the date/time to "auto synch" helping with Origin issues. Right-click the date/time in bottom right of screen > choose "adjust date/time" > "region" (left side of screen)
The easiest way to check if it's the issue is just change the settings under Time & Time Zone to "Automatically"
We can hold off on the DNS flush for right now, I understand your worries. It looks scarier than it is. But, let's try some more connection troubleshooting before moving to that.
Obviously, your computer is online or you wouldn't be able to post here, so make sure you haven't accidentally put Origin offline - in Origin, go to the Origin menu > Go Online (if it says "go offline", then it's already online) . Actually, with all of the different work you've done, I would just Exit Origin completely - Origin menu > Exit - then reboot your computer. After your computer loads Windows, log in to Origin. As long as it doesn't tell you you're offline - right-click SimCity. If there is a "Repair" option, choose to repair and see if we can get it installed.
If there is no Repair option, please send a screenshot of what the menu looks like.
Thanks for hanging in there with the troubleshooting - Origin can be stubborn sometimes.

@furujka Thank you for the replies, very helpful. The pop ups that ask for permission are good, you will get those because you set it to run "as Administrator".
Did you buy Simcity through Origin or another source? Please let me know exactly the title on your receipt or box.
If you haven't already, try setting SimCity.exe to run in windows 7 compatibility mode. You can find this in the same place where you set it to run "as Administrator".
Also remove any proxies from your Internet connection in Windows
- Click on Start, select Settings and navigate to Network & Internet > Proxy.
- Turn the option "Automatically detect settings" to ON.
- Turn the option "Use a proxy server" to OFF
There is a possibility that User Access Control is interfering with the install. If you're still experiencing the issue, you can turn it off. Don't worry, it only needs to be off for a short period of time, then you can re-enable. Click on the spoiler to see instructions:
SpoilerDisable UAC:
- Press the Windows key and X.
- Click on Control Panel.
- In the search box, type uac, and then click Change User Account Control settings.
- To disable User Access Control:
- Move the slider to the Never notify position, and then click OK.
- If you're asked for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or provide confirmation.
- You will need to restart your computer for UAC to be turned off.
- Once you've restarted, launch Origin & let the install try again
- If it successfully installs, launch the game & let it run for a few minutes, then exit the game & Origin
- Search for uac again and hit Enter.
- To re-enable User Account Control:
- Move the slider to choose when you want to be notified, and then click OK.
- If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or provide confirmation

OK, it's unlikely, but look at your Order History & verify the version of SimCity you purchased. I have seen errors like this before, but only when an expansion pack was purchased, instead of the base game. But I don't think you can do that on Origin, and customer service should have noticed that. Still, it's worth checking to be certain you didn't accidentally get just an add on pack.
We've now reached the part where you will need to uninstall Origin "the hard way". I'd also like you to delete the SimCity game files & folders from Program Files and My Documents, if there are any there. (If you don't want to completely delete them, you can just rename the SimCity folders as a kind of backup)
Also, this will not affect your other game files, but to be safe, make a copy of your other game folders. Put the copies somewhere like your desktop, so you can easily find them.
Before you do the uninstall, please send a copy of your current InstallLog.txt to your reply. It will be found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\__Installer\InstallLog.txt
Then, follow the directions for "the hard way" uninstall here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/#hard-way
I know they give a lot of cautions & it sounds scary, but if you only do what the instructions tell you to do, this will delete all of Origin from your computer & affect nothing else. If you run into any questions, ask here & I can talk you through it

Hi,
I tried to be watchful, so i think I purchased the base game, although the Origin suggested to get up the "monthly-subscription" with this game.
I attached the txt, but i will try the hard way just later, because I wont be near the computer today and tomorrow.
Maybe it is important that i had this game earlier in this computer in cracked version.

The receipt pic does show the SimCity base game so that's good. And yeah - if you had a cracked version it is probably preventing the install. You will need to also fully remove everything associated with the other version, including the SimCity folder in the My Documents folder.
After you do the Origin & old game uninstall, you also need to check your EA account profile & match the regional settings to the language which you want the game to install.
I noticed the first part of your install log was trying to install the Hungarian version, but the last few attempts were US English. When you go to install the game, it will offer the language options based on your profile's settings. Check at profile.ea.com before you try to install.
Good luck, hopefully this gets resolved 🤞
