Go to DXVK in GitHub and click on "Release 2.3" on the right.
Scroll down and download the first file, called "dxvk-2.3.tar.gz".
Open it and copy the "d3d9.dll" file inside the x32 folder and paste it into the folder where the SimCity executable file is, the executable file should be in this path: C:\Program Files\EA Games\SimCity\SimCity
Btw the background music still plays when the screen frozen
i run simcity 2013 on windows 11 on a ASUS vivobook. After i downloaded and installed simcity 2013 from EA, it just keep freezing on either the maxis logo/ main menu ingame. I have tried running with administrator, combability settings etc. but still does not work. I believe my laptop spces are capable of running the game ( i5-1335U, IRIS XE graphic card). Any solution to this problem please?
What issue do you have exactly? The game might not be compatible with latest CPUs but there shouldn't be any specific issue with Windows 11 🤔
