Simcity 5 Install Problem (STILL)

Ok, so you all probably had a frustrating problem with Simcity 5, right? Well you all got it fixed? Right? Well, i got it a week ago, its mid June now, and i cant even get past installation. It goes 25%, 40%, !00%. And asks if i want to install. Ive tried refreshing a lot. Ive tried downloading Directx and installing it, Ive tried uninstalling origin and reinstalling it. Ive tried redirecting where games install, Ive tried deleting the Logs client, ive tried what i believe to be everything. And nothing happens, i still cant get past installation. I really like this game and want to enjoy it, and unfortunately to me that's still a dream. PLEASE HELP!!! ANYONE!?!

I bought the direct Origin download

I have Windows Vista

These are the recorded errors in the Log_client.HTML wwhen i attempt to log in and install SIMCITY 5:

(this one happens upon log in)

(the rest are during installation i think)

(dont know what this one is, it appears blue)

66 [Jun 14 00:56:46.850] Warning Origin::Engine::Content::GamesController getPlayedGameTime [3028] trying to call getPlayedTime with empty contentId

PLEASE HELP! I'D EXTREMELY appreciate it!!!!!! Thank you.

    GDF = Game Definition File (Microsoft)

    I thought it was interesting that the install directory is C:\Origin Games\SimCity when the default Origin installer is in

    C:\ProgramData\Origin\DownloadCache

    and the target directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity.

    Your file location is C:\Origin Games\SimCity\GDFBinary_en_US.dll

    Did a quick search for your error and came up with this.  It's a different EA game but similar issue.

    Having to mess with the registry to get a game installed is just wrong.

    SimCity is in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow 6432Node\Maxis\SimCity

    GDFBinary REG_SZ  C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\GDFBinary_en_US.dll

    Install Dir   REG_SZ  C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\

    Yeah, the directory is that cause someone said it would work to change it to that. And i was too lazy to change it back when it didnt work. ill check that out, thanks. I heard battlefield 3 had a problem like simcity.

      Hope it helps. Still sad you have to go to these lengths to install a game :P

      And really really sad. Origin is currently on meltdown. All the weekenders trying to play after the Origin client update earlier in the week caused all their games to disappear from the 'My Games' folder. I've been able to play SimCity on and off all day. Knock on wood.

    Now it says error 3000 when i try to play, and wont update, just says "Checking for Updates" forever. i googled it and only one forum comes up but it doesnt help, and when it does ask me to update and i say yes, nothing happens #FML
