Simcity 5 keeps crashing.
I play the game and after a little bit it crashes, it says "sim city as stopped working" i know it has nothing to do with my graphix card or anything because it used to do it with simcity 4 not that ...

brought the game 2 days ago, was playing for 4 hrs with no problem, now it just doesnt start up

Just started happening to me, I have only tested one city but it happens everytime I play that city, works for about 5 minutes then freezes, though I can still hear the music. In the end I have to ctrl, alt, del out of it. Any end in sight for this issue? Or are they aware of what may be causing it?
welcome to the wonderful world of SimCity online. bought it months ago and still having more problems with this game than any other ive had before. by a mile. if the game wasn't so cool id have given up by now.
Hey guys, I do not know if this will fix your issue or not but it might.
This is intended to maybe fix recent crashes that just started happening since 5.0. If you have bluescreens or crashes that have been an issue prior to 5.0, this likely won't help you but if your at your wits end...
1. Shutdown SimCity. 2. Go to “Program Files\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCity\UserData\Patches\UpdatedApp\” and copy all the files in that directory to “Program Files\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCity\” . Please note that this path is the default installation path for SimCity. Please modify this if you have custom installed SimCity. 3. Restart SimCity.
