Fixed it, I did another clean reinstall. I guess patience is the key.
Disabling origin-in-game in the advanced settings fixed the problem for me.

To disable Origin in game, open the Origin application on your desktop. In the top, left corner click on the drop down box that says "Origin." Click on the option titled, Application Settings. Once you are there, you will click the sidebar option that says Origin In Game. Uncheck the box that says Enable Origin in Game.
Please do not dig up the graveyard. This thread was decayed, just bones, and you disinterred it for no useful reason.
