***'SimCity has stopped working' Crash FIX!***
After 3 months of not even attempting to play the game because I could never get it working, I finally gave it one last crack, and it WORKED!
If your SimCity comes up with the error "SimCity has stoppped working" as soon as you try to launch, try this;
- Go into your Origin Application
- Go to the drop down menu up the top titled 'Origin'
- Click on 'Application Settings'
- In the menu that pops up, click on 'Origin in game'
- UNCHECK the 'Enable Origin In Game' box (as in, turn it off)
- Now play SimCity !
It still comes up with an Error saying 'Cannot connect to SimCity servers' when it first loads up, but after that it continues on into the game.
I also found out that if I had 'Windows Magnifier' enabled I wouldnt have a cursor in the game.
I cant guarantee that this will fix it for everyone, but thought it was worth sharing !
