I doubt its a specific building or action. I've had blue screen, black screen, freezes, and program closes. It's been triggered by clicking various windows and overlays, placing all sorts of buildings and roads, viewing the region, scrolling around the city, and doing nothing at all. I've updated all drivers and programs, run all sorts of diagnostics and tests, and all other programs do not cause any issue like this. Some function in simcity seems to trip up my computer. My guess is its this fancy-pants agent system.
I reinstalled the game. Now it freezes after about 1 minute instead of 5. No matter if I start a new city or run the tutorial. Before I could build a road, now I can't do even that lol.
