SimCity not installing

I have an issue downloading/installing SimCity. When I open Origin, the game automatically goes in the download manager queue, where it says that its "controlling game files". It takes a few second...

    Good point - I will update my post with the newest information. 

    Be aware that Aspyr's App Store version is single player / offline mode only, but it does work well on Catalina
