SIMCITY

I'll launch it from the EA app, it says whatever about permissions and then the launcher opens and says its got an update to do.  Update finishes and it says that my network connection is not connected(which makes no sense since it just downloaded an update but whatever).  Tells me I have to reload into Singleplayer which is fine and all I want to do anyway.  Well the problem is that when I click single player and the launcher restarts, it just redownloads the update again and the cycle continues. 

HELP PLEASE

I have removed the program completely and reloaded it i included an upgrade and did a maintainence check on  it unfortunately makes no difference.
