- Peter7802 years agoRising Scout@brittaniethekid Can you please try and change the default location for installing EA app games? I have had a similar issue with Mirror's Edge, and I was able to fix it by installing it in a different location other than the default C:\Program Files\
Just tried to save it into a new folder in my Downloads folder and it didn't move past 14%. It still shows 14% even though I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
- Peter7802 years agoRising Scout@brittaniethekid Well I am not really sure what is causing this issue but many players have been reporting the same thing with many games. Can you please try to install Origin and see if it downloads using Origin, so we can confirm that EA app is the cause of the problem.
- Peter7802 years agoRising Scout@brittaniethekid Can you also please try to change the region in your EA app settings? For example, set it to United States or United Kingdom. Some EA app users have mentioned that this fixed their issue with other games not downloading.
Thanks for your help. Origin downloaded and played it fine.
- Peter7802 years agoRising Scout@brittaniethekid I am happy to hear that. If you wish to use the EA app, I have heard that changing the region in the EA app settings worked for some users. I am not sure about that though. I hope that the issue will be fixed later in the future.
- Peter7802 years agoRising Scout@brittaniethekid I have just found a temporary solution to this issue for the EA app until an update is released to fix it. If you get the stuck at 14% download error, just keep retrying to download by resuming the download every time it get stuck or canceling and downloading again. After multiple tries, it should hopefully work for you. I have tried that myself.
