Single Player regions gone

opened simcity 2013 today, been playing it recently for a good while (many months). However, my single player regions aren't there - they've just disappeared out of thin air! How can i retrieve them?

Why is origin/simcity so buggy, im actually annoyed. already lost my multiplayer ones.. these too? >☹️

  • Hi @FlabbaWokei - Your single player games are all held in your Documents folder. It's possible that Windows has either started or stopped using OneDrive as the place to store your documents folder, which means the game is just not finding them.

Search your computer for your Games folder. The default location is C:\<YourWindowsUserName>\Documents\SimCity\Games. In the games folder there will be at least one folder nested with your games folder. If you have a Games folder in each location, look at the Date Modified column to find out which is the one with your games in it. Then you can just copy the entire SimCity folder from one place to the other. This should return all of your cities.

If you wish to change how your computer uses OneDrive, this article will explain the ways you can do so. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/turn-off-disable-or-uninstall-onedrive-f32a17ce-3336-40fe-9c38-6efb09f944b0?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

Please reply back and let us know if you were able to retrieve your cities. Happy Building!

Thank you so much  @BlackjackWidow !! Free hugs? Haha

I'm using an iMac however, but the process was similar. I believe the game didn't detect the existing "Simcity Media" folder because the night prior to me playing it, i fiddled around with my folders, trying to put a password on them and failing... thankfully i didn't delete it!

    Thank you again!
