Switch from my old Mac to my new Mac: I can't play SimCity anymore

Today I finally had the time to switch form my 2014 Mac to my 2022 Mac, and origin (or EA app) simply decided that my SimCity game was only available on Windows... What can I do to keep playing SimCi...

    macOS no longer supports 32bit software since Catalina. If you have a newer version of macOS, you won't be able to play (that's what the "only available on Windows" error message actually means)
