Really don't understand why when people buy a game the DAY it comes out that there are massive connection problems to be addressed.  Sure, it happened in Beta and EA probably got around it in Beta.  This is the public release day, so seriously everyone.  STFU.  Go to bed, go to work, move on with your lives.  They'll fix it eventually (hopefully soon).  Myself? i'm going to go smoke a cigarette and go to bed with my lovely wife.

Funny, the **bleep**ing bull**bleep** beta performed better.  At least with that you got a reliable one hour of limited bull**bleep** gameplay.  **bleep** you, EA.  Did they think only ten people were going to play today?  Are they **bleep**ing retarded?

What pisses me off is that EA obviously didn't bother to pay a single person to be on call for support. This **bleep** is ridiculous. You can't just launch a AAA title and then have the whole office go home for the night!

I get the same BS. In 6 hours of play I've managed to only create 1 succesful region. I wish I could get a refund. Last time I ever try these crap online only pieces of crap.

I agree. Unacceptable that I can't use what I've paid for. Give me something that works or refuse to sell the product to me until it does work, simple as that. Also, give us the option for offline singleplayer! What kinda retarded thing is it to require internet for singleplayer, and then to drop the ball on having your servers ready... More to the point, what if my internet goes out? What better pasttime than Sim City? But that won't be an option then either.

EA is a sham, they have a notorious history for releasing games with glitches, bugs, and problems that are never resolved months or years after release. Type in the name of any EA game into google followed by "problems" and see how many people have experienced the same problems, and see how many of the problems are ever resolved, and then you see how many people have purchased defective goods from EA.

I love Maxxis, but I have to fault them at least a little bit for partnering with EA. EA's reputation for this type of thing is no secret, and yet they partner with them anyway. I absolutely despise knowing that EA gets some of my money because of how much I love Sim City. It's like a super laxative in my favorite food... but ima eat it anyway... *sigh*
